 I was wondering if it would be possible to update the GAMESS port to the
 latest version? The current MacPorts version does not actually support
 ARM-based Macs (that support came in 2021). Additionally, multiple
 advancements have been released since 2018.

 I made an attempt to install from the source code myself, but as GAMESS
 wants to be told about my system information and directed to MPI and maths
 libraries that I have installed through MacPorts anyway, I would rather
 not make a mistake by doing it myself if it was at all possible to install
 it through MacPorts.
