 I am not sure I ever tried to build it as universal. Can try it in a
 couple of days. The error may be related to the muniversal PG, perhaps.

 On a side note, is there any specific reason to use an archaic gcc5 with
 it? Why not gcc14 (or perhaps gfortran, if you build with clang
 otherwise).
