 I've decided to update all my ports today to the latest versions to see if
 the issue would return but it didn't, everything works as it should again,
 no crashes at startup. Tried restarting both apache and my macbook a
 couple of times, to be sure.

 I'm now on apache2 at 2.4.63_0+eventmpm+http2 & openssl3 at 3.5.0_0

 So either the openssl3 update fixed it, or either some other magical thing
 fixed it somehow.

 I think we can close this issue here now, because nobody else reported a
 similar problem I believe.
