Comment:

 As far as I can tell from the portion of log you pasted, it's using
 /usr/bin/gcc-4.2 in the configure and build phases, which (on Leopard and
 Snow Leopard) is the right compiler (in the sense of
 UsingTheRightCompiler) however I see it generates an error so either it
 could use a patch to fix building with this compiler, if upstream supports
 this compiler, or we can blacklist it.
