 % lipo -info /opt/local/lib/libelf.a
 Non-fat file: /opt/local/lib/libelf.a is architecture: x86_64

 I suppose that confirms my suspicion about `libelf`. I tried force
 reinstalling the package multiple times and I don't know why it
 consistently picks the wrong architecture
