Comment (by snowflake):

 Both machines have ```#!/opt/local/bin/port-tclsh``` as the shebang for
 mpstats.
 This is incorrect.

 Both machines have mpstats version @0.2.0_0
 The MD5 sum of /opt/local/libexec/mpstats is
 ```aaed293762513dc75e275208894710e8```
 on both machines.

 The git log for the mpstats directory is
 ```d29a695008d051251481a601ab3135b5503907c9```
 It hasn't changed since  2022-12-14 11:40:47 +0000. It's the same on both
 machines.

 Both machines have version ```bcc2973ad42375989b7b929f0da515387265a8fd ```
 for the port command.
 I keep them up to date.
