 This is a duplicate of #72428, which was already discussed in
 [https://github.com/macports/macports-ports/pull/28557].

 I don't have permissions to mark it as such.

 The workaround is to use `legacy-support-devel` until the next `legacy-
 support` release (or figure out why the code is so brain-damaged that it
 requires `std=c90`).
