#74291: grace @5.1.25_6: all file dialogs fail with "No file name given" when built

Grace starts normally and can be used interactively, but every operation
that requires selecting a file fails.
Examples:
File → Open
File → Save...
Data → Import → ASCII
All produce:
[Error] No file name given
despite a filename being selected in the file selection dialog.
This makes it impossible to open or save files using the GUI.
In one case, after changing the save location to my home directory, Grace
did not report the error. Instead, it created a file in the original
working directory named:
FONTLIST_DEFAULT_TAG
rather than using the selected filename.
FONTLIST_DEFAULT_TAG appears to be an internal Motif symbol, suggesting
the filename returned from the file selection dialog is incorrect.
Steps to reproduce
Start xmgrace.
Select Data → Import → ASCII (or File → Open or File → Save).
Select any file and press OK.
Grace reports:
[Error] No file name given
or, occasionally, creates a file named FONTLIST_DEFAULT_TAG.
