 Unfortunately, not that far back, in terms of supporting building on the
 target OS. Older versions, at least up to 10.9 lacks support for XIB
 format 8 (IIRC), which is what this port uses, most likely just because
 newer Xcode dropped support for older formats. Not only the Xcode
 Interface Builder is affected by this, the xcodebuild CLI also does not
 let you compile new XIB formats.
 Maybe it's not hard to make a patch to convert back the format though? I
 haven't looked into porting AppKit apps that much.
