Comment (by ryandesign):
The log shows that the problem is likely that your libiconv library is
invalid in some way:
{{{
dyld[2254]: Library not loaded: /opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib
Referenced from: <248CABA7-5102-3C9A-9CE3-23089A4D2689>
/opt/local/bin/msgfmt
Reason: tried: '/opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib' (slice is not valid
mach-o file),
'/System/Volumes/Preboot/Cryptexes/OS/opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib' (no
such file), '/opt/local/lib/libiconv.2.dylib' (slice is not valid mach-o
file)
}}}
pkg-config also links with libiconv.2.dylib so it will be affected by this
just as gettext's msgfmt was above.
Do you have libiconv installed with the universal variant? (Check `port
installed libiconv`) That's unfortunately broken on Tahoe right now
because of a change Apple made in Tahoe that we have not yet worked
around; see #73796.
If that's the problem, reinstall libiconv without the universal variant:
{{{
sudo port install libiconv
}}}
Then you should be able to install libpsl.
