Tested with py314-qt5
1. -Wno-enum-constexpr-conversion is missing, and -Wenum-constexpr-
conversion works like -Werror somehow.
Fix: Add -Wno-enum-constexpr-conversion to CXXFLAGS in .qmake.cache in
source directory after configure.
2. Link issue on macOS 13.3 SDK
{{{
:info:build
/Applications/Develop/Xcode6.app/Contents/Developer/Toolchains/XcodeDefault.xctoolchain/usr/bin/clang++
-headerpad_max_install_names -stdlib=libc++ -arch x86_64
-Wl,-headerpad_max_install_names -L/opt/local/lib -lMacportsLegacySupport
-Wl,-syslibroot,/Applications/Develop/Xcode6.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX13.3.sdk
-mmacosx-version-min=10.9 -o QtCore.app/Contents/MacOS/QtCore
cfgtest_QtCore.o -F/opt/local/libexec/qt5/lib -framework QtCore
-framework DiskArbitration -framework IOKit
:info:build clang: warning: argument unused during compilation:
'-stdlib=libc++' [-Wunused-command-line-argument]
:info:build ld: unexpected token: !tapi-tbd file
'/Applications/Develop/Xcode6.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX13.3.sdk/System/Library/Frameworks//IOKit.framework/IOKit.tbd'
for architecture x86_64
:info:build clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v
to see invocation)
}}}
Fix: Avoid having macOS 13.3 SDK. I added it temporarily to compile
something else but looks like it is attacking me here.
3. Link issue, missing symbols
{{{
:info:build Undefined symbols for architecture x86_64:
:info:build "operator delete(void*)", referenced from:
:info:build _main in cfgtest_QtNetwork.o
:info:build "operator new(unsigned long)", referenced from:
:info:build _main in cfgtest_QtNetwork.o
:info:build "___gxx_personality_v0", referenced from:
:info:build _main in cfgtest_QtNetwork.o
:info:build Dwarf Exception Unwind Info (__eh_frame) in
cfgtest_QtNetwork.o
:info:build ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64
}}}
This is a fresh build, using 10.10 SDK.
Fix: Append -lc++ to LFLAGS in .qmake.cache, again, after configure.
I think that's all the issues for now. 2, I think can be ignored as it's a
very non-standard situation.
TLDR: Modify CXX and L(D) flags, and do not have a very new SDK installed
on old system.
