 I locally build packages before submitting to GitHub. I'm also on Sequoia,
 and saw no error.

 However, the path is very suspicious. It looks like you don't have
 MacPorts under {{{/opt/local}}}. It shouldn't matter, but this sometimes
 leads to unexpected behaviors.

 My guess is that the {{{Makefile}}} has a superfluous {{{$DESTDIR}}}
 somewhere.
