 Note that many of these errors come from using glib-2.0 version 2.78. Most
 of these 'extra' functions are only present in 2.80 or later. As of
 January 2026, glib-2.0 is at 2.87.2 (and upgrading it from 2.78 was a
 nightmare for a beginner MacPorts tinkerer such as yours truly).

 Once glib-2.0 gets bumped to at least 2.80, most (if not all) of these
 errors for missing symbols will hopefully disappear.
