 Thanks, @jmroot! Builds of
 `tk8 +quartz +universal`
 now work and py-tkinter +universal does, too.  (I'm not sure how well
 `tk9` is supported in MacPorts yet, but it appears both `tk9-quartz
 +universal` and `tk9-x11 +universal` fail to build.)
