 I checked the MacPorts Guide for an explanation of "PR" ( a public
 relation, as with Hugh Grant and someone else in a small European car?)
 and how to find the appropriate form – and found only: "This is because
 the change is either from a non-committer, or from a committer who could
 have just pushed the change directly, and by opening a PR is signalling a
 desire to have the change reviewed by the maintainer."

 I did report a means to improve the software – could this be viewed at as
 start of a "PR"?
