 I notice this in your log amongst a lot of other errors/warnings:

 why is something linking/looking at `/usr/lib/libarchive.2.dylib`. That
 isn't a file that is installed by MacPorts and shouldn't be there... Is it
 possible you have other stuff installed through any other means, do you
 use Homebrew as well, etcetera....

 Please run {{{sudo port diagnose}}} and see if there are any relevant
 warnings/issue reported.
