 Builds are failing on both the [https://build.macports.org/builders/ports-
 13_x86_64-builder/builds/111228/steps/install-port/logs/stdio x86_64] and
 [https://build.macports.org/builders/ports-
 13_arm64-builder/builds/105117/steps/install-port/logs/stdio arm64]
 buildbots with the same error:

 This is quite strange, because {{{vte}}} seems to
 [https://ports.macports.org/port/vte/details/ compile just fine] on macOS
 12 Monterey and older.

 The build failures for Mojave and older are due to one of {{{vte}}}'s
 dependencies, {{{simdutf}}}. I have already created a ticket for that
 issue: ticket:74252.
