Comment:

 We should be patching these scripts to use the correct interpreter and not
 depend on what is selected as the system python3, which will also make
 sure the right module dependencies are installed.

 We do this for perl scripts, should be doing this for Python also. Let me
 look at what Python scripts the various texlive ports install...
