Comment:

 The error message here was misleading, which was fixed in
 [2090c134042845cd931cf6f10a784192dbac7a1a/macports-base]. It's not clear
 why some registry entries would be missing cxx_stdlib, but in any case
 that is handled as of [4c5b607effafccaeaf90491a6eddc3116f4a5e6f/macports-
 base]. Both commits are included in 2.12.4 and later.
