 Ryan, Just out of curiosity - as I'm not familiar at all with MacPorts
 charter/policy/management, etc:

 Does MacPorts undertake modifications to its library of ported software
 (like findutils) that may not be compatible with macOS/Darwin? Or, is its
 role to provide feedback to the developers of these ports, leaving it to
 them to make the changes?
