 I had done:

 xcodebuild -downloadComponent MetalToolchain
 }}}

 But, hadn't also done:

 {{{
 sudo --user=macports xcodebuild -showComponent MetalToolchain
 sudo rm -f "$(sudo --user=macports getconf DARWIN_USER_TEMP_DIR)/xcrun_db"
 }}}

 But now I have, and I still get the same error. I see that those
 instructions "may" require a reboot, and I can't try that right now.
