 nqc/nqc.cpp line 1088 — missing fprintf(STDERR, at the start of the line
 in PrintVersion()
 compiler/lexer.cpp — added extern "C" { #include <stdio.h> #include
 <unistd.h> } to fix isatty linker error on arm64


 macOS arm64 (Apple Silicon), darwin 25

 Workaround:

 sudo port -s install nqc configure.compiler=macports-gcc-13 after manually
 patching both files

 ALSO

 the pre-built binary archive nqc-3.1.r6_1.darwin_25.arm64.tbz2 is broken
 so MacPorts keeps trying and failing to use it even when you specify GCC,
 which is why the -s flag is needed.
