 Well to keep things going the output of sudo port -d rev-upgrade shows no
 broken files or ports.

 To clarify my earlier comment about the binary archive being broken: what
 I observed was that MacPorts repeatedly attempted to fetch the pre-built
 archive nqc-3.1.r6_1.darwin_25.arm64.tbz2 and failed, then fell through to
 building from source which also failed due to the two bugs in the source
 code.

 So the issue is in the source rather than a broken binary — the -s flag
 was needed to skip the failed archive fetch and go straight to the source
 build where the patches could be applied."
