 Updated to the latest macOS version; no difference. No +universal or any
 special setting is used: setup are blank ci/cd machines without ports;
 with a fresh macports followed(just to be safe) by a sudo port
 selfupdate/upgrade outdated with default python, gobject3 and gtk package
 versions.  After the update to 2.12.6 the ARM version started to differ
 from the Intel version; with a segfault - which I was guessing/hoping to
 be some linking/dlopen(0/compile time issue that would be known/easily
 recognized :) :)
