Comment (by breun):
I don't know much about ccache, and `ccache: error: Operation not
permitted` also doesn't tell me much, so I'm afraid I don't know what
could be done to build `openjdk25` from source using ccache.
OpenJDK can't handle ccache via a wrapper, so the `openjdk25` port
contains this section to support ccache, which has been copied over from
previous `openjdk*` ports (it's also in the `openjdk11` Portfile):
{{{
if {[option configure.ccache]} {
# replace MacPorts ccache integration into JDK
configure.ccache no
depends_build-append path:bin/ccache:ccache
configure.args-append --enable-ccache \
--with-ccache-dir=${ccache_dir}
}
}}}
As a workaround I could disable ccache support for `openjdk25` completely
by setting `configure.ccache no` unconditionally. Would that be ok for
you, or do you have any other ideas on how this could work with ccache
enabled?
By the way, MacPorts has a prebuilt binary package for `openjdk25` for
macOS 26, so I assume you have configured MacPorts to build from source?
