 Thanks for the update (and fast response): I fully understand your point
 of view!
 Differences I would see:
 - I actually had some cases, where local issues did break it: knowing what
 breaks global vs. local is therefore useful.
 - Large system builds often draw in tons of dependencies, sometimes the
 breaking was there, not necessarily in the head build. In automated
 building, this might be easier to channel to the correct port.

 For now, I had to switch back to homebrew to get me and my machine ready
 for travels.
 Upon return, I might give a migration another attempt and then report the
 specific failures to the individual ports.
