Ok, so your MacPorts has been inadvertently linked with the rogue  
readline that was in /usr/local/lib. You should now rebuild MacPorts,  
either by building from source, or by reinstalling it from the latest  
disk image for your OS version and then running selfupdate.

You may encounter other software, MacPorts ports for example,  
inadvertently linked with the libraries formerly in /usr/local/lib.  
As you discover these, rebuild those ports with "sudo port -ncuf  
upgrade foo"
