tk update fails

A ticket was filed about this 3 days ago, so I believe the maintainer  
is aware of it and is hopefully thinking about a solution.

You can work around the problem by forcibly uninstalling and then  
reinstalling tk instead of trying to upgrade it. See the ticket notes.
