How to recover a corrupt darwinports db

Howdy,

(If this is not the appropriate mailing list for darwin ports, please
tell me where I can find it)

In a flailing attempt to try to install hugs98 via darwinports (having
been confused and not realizing that the previous install attempt had
been successful), I deleted all directories containing the name
"hugs", hoping that this would force darwin ports to redownload and
rebuild on my next installation attempt (OK, stop laughing).  Now, of
course, darwin ports fails on any attempt to do anythign with hugs98.
How can I convince darwin ports to just start over for hugs98?
