Weird problem with ncurses(w)

Hi!

There seems to be something wrong with the latest versions of ncurse 
(w). After installation using MacPorts I get:

This breaks other software that I'm trying to install on my MacBook  
Pro (10.4.8 with the latest updates). I'm using a fresh install of  
MacPorts, updated to the latest version. Your help is appreciated.
