rolling my own php 5.2.3 with macports gd2 fails

I saw that thread but didn't think it applied to me as I don't have 
libkrb5.dylib installed in /opt/local/lib, and I'm not including 
kerberos support in my config command. As I said, I'm rolling my own php 
outside of macports.
