The usual behavior is for MacPorts to use Apple's X11 if you have  
installed both X11User.pkg and X11SDK.pkg, and otherwise to install  
XFree86. You can only install and use one of Apple's X11 or XFree86  
at a time. I recommend you use only Apple's X11.
