Problem installing pdflib

Hi,

I'm trying to install octave & octave-forge and the process failed  
while compiling pdflib. Details:

Mac OS X 10.5
2.2GHz Intel Macbook
Macports base version 1.520

A log from the command 'sudo port -v install pdflib >& log' is attached.
