Macports and http proxy

hmmm... afaik, libcurl reads http_proxy & friends; setting http_proxy  
works for me:

# working http proxy:
$> export http_proxy=http://myproxy:3128
sudo port -d fetch mysql5
-> succeeds
# inexistant http proxy
$> export http_proxy=http://127.0.0.1:4711
sudo port -d fetch mysql5
-> cannot connect
