wireshark crashing on Leopard

You are using Leopard, correct? You might try downloading the X11  
updates at
http://www.x.org/wiki/XDarwin
by Apples X11 guy. I dont know that this will fix your present problem  
but cant hurt.
Im sure otherswill have more to say. :)
