error when building libtheora on intel lap in leopard

I believe this error has already been reported in our issue tracker:

I have added your email address to the bug's Cc list so you'll be  
informed when anything happens to the bug. However, since libtheora  
has no maintainer, the bug probably won't get solved until someone  
takes the initiative to figure out why this is happening and contact  
the authors of the software for assistance if necessary.
