What port provides /opt/local/include/uuid.h? I don't have it on my  
system. Please type:

port provides /opt/local/include/uuid.h

and show us the output. Which port was installing at the time of the  
error -- apr or db44? Also please tell us your version of Mac OS X,  
Xcode, MacPorts, and what type of Mac you have.
