It works fine on my 10.4 system - command line and/or via web browser

The following ports are currently installed:
   apache @1.3.37_0 (active)
   apache2 @2.2.6_0 (active)
   apachetop @0.12.5_0 (active)
   libxml2 @2.6.30_0 (active)
   libxslt @1.1.22_0 (active)
   php5 @5.2.5_1+apache+darwin_8+macosx+mysql5+pear (active)
