I don't know that anyone is looking at it, until we get more
information. For example, I cannot reproduce the problem on my system
so I cannot speculate about a fix. Take a look at the ticket and see
if you can provide any more information, any hint about what might be
different between your system and everyone else's where perl is
installing just fine. For example, do you have anything in /usr/
local, which often causes problems for MacPorts?
