I just installed git-core +svn . Now running:

git clone  http://svn.macosforge.org/repository/macports/trunk

returns:

fatal: http://svn.macosforge.org/repository/macports/trunk/info/refs  
not found: did you run git update-server-info on the server?

What am I missing here?
