Creating application bundles from ports

Hi,

I have not been able to find anything on the Wiki about how one might
create simple App bundles from installed ports. (For at least basic
Mac WM integration, i.e. Dock etc.)

Is this something that anybody are working on?

Any tips for me to start building this myself?

Specifically I'm trying to build an App bundle for  a Python GTK+ application.
