problem linking fortran to fftw-3

Dear MacPorts users,

I'm trying to build wspr for MacOS.

I've done:
port install fftw-3 +g95

but during the build I get:

/usr/bin/libtool: can't locate file for: -lfftw3f

Any clues would would be most welcome.
