Upgrading PHP5

Hi

I see that PHP5 is going to change its ways.

I currently have the following installed

    php5 @5.3.0_0+apache2+macosx+mysql5+pear (active)

It appears that I will need to install (eventually)

php5-curl php5-gd php5-gmp php5-imap php5-mcrypt php5-pspell php5- 
readline php5-tidy php5-xsl php5-zlib

and probably more.

If I do a simple ''port upgrade php5'' will it automatically install  
each of the new parts?

Inquiring minds want to know.
