Another window manager failed to build: gnustep

I wanted to confirm that I get this error too, on Mac OS X 10.5.6  
Intel with Xcode 3.1.2 and MacPorts 1.7.0.

I see this error reported previously in this ticket:

which is closed as a duplicate of this ticket:

http://trac.macports.org/ticket/13693

which was allegedly fixed 15 months ago. Clearly not, and/or the  
problem has resurfaced.

Unfortunately gnustep-base has no maintainer so someone with an  
interest in this problem will need to step up and figure out how to  
solve it.
