MacPorts Install Error: "The following dependencies failed to build libiconv

It would help to post the actual error message.

Run again using
  sudo port clean p5-locale-gettext
  sudo port -d install p5-locale-gettext | tee p5-locale-gettext.log

Then make that log file available somewhere.
