Hello macports-users,

After recently having successfully installed "macports", "kde4" and "kate", I've been trying to install the "kile" port ... but have a few problems. I've tried to install both "kile" and "kile-devel", and each has a different issue.

In the case of "kile" macports gets stuck when building "kdelibs3", and I have the following :-

I have tried installing both "kdelibs3" and "kdegraphics4" separately, following "sudo port clean --all XXX" where "XXX" was the port name (I had the impression this was a good thing to do, from looking at other posts ...) but still no luck. The terminal output shown above from the attempted installation of "kdegraphics4" was in fact done after installing the "sane-backends" port, which I'd found in another post to be a potential issue holding back "kdegraphics4". Obviously it has not fully solved the problem, and as an inexperienced user I don't know what to make of the error messages.

Thanks in advance for any help and advice on this ... Kile is what I wanted macports for in the first place!

Regards,
/Darren
