can't install xemacs, tiff checksum fails

Hello

I am on a MacPort Air with Leopard and
I installed macport 1.81 following the instructions in
<http://www.macports.org/install.php>

after running the selfupdate command
I tried to install xemacs using

sudo port install xemacs,

everything went fine till I encountered the following problem

--->  Computing dependencies for xemacs
--->  Verifying checksum(s) for tiff
Error: Checksum (md5) mismatch for tiff-3.9.1.tar.gz
Error: Checksum (sha1) mismatch for tiff-3.9.1.tar.gz
Error: Checksum (rmd160) mismatch for tiff-3.9.1.tar.gz
Error: Target org.macports.checksum returned: Unable to verify file
checksums
Error: The following dependencies failed to build: tiff
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.


what can I do?
