Gimp installation errors

Was trying to build GIMP and got the following errors after soo many
packages installed perfectly well:

make[2]: *** [gimpcpuaccel.lo] Error 1
make[2]: *** Waiting for unfinished jobs....
mv -f .deps/gimpdatafiles.Tpo .deps/gimpdatafiles.Plo
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make: *** [all] Error 2

Error: The following dependencies failed to build: gimp-app gimp2 gimp-jp2
gimp-lqr-plugin liblqr gtk-nodoka-engine coreutils gmp gutenprint icns-gimp
ufraw exiv2 gtkimageview xsane sane-backends libusb-compat libusb
Error: Status 1 encountered during processing.

I uninstalled gimp and did another install but got the same errors. Any
ideas how I can get these packages?
