gtk based apps on snow leopard: segmentation fault

Then it makes "sense" that my GTK2 app started to work when I tricked  
and installed cairo/pango with +quartz and GTK2 with variant +x11.  
That shouldn't work, but does and Exult Studio actually worked with  
that combination. Before (all installed with +x11) it wouldn't display  
and hang in the background.

just a day before this thread.
