perl5.10 defines -Dusemultiplicity=y ??

Why does the perl5.10 port define -Dusemultiplicity=y unconditionally,
when the perl5.8 port didn't (and didn't even have a variant that did).

Can we please get that removed? (Ditto in perl5.12).
Or at least hide it in a variant?

It breaks mod_perl2, for example.
